First CLARA High-level Quadruple Innovation Helix Roundtable

 

On 12 November 2025, the first in a planned series of annual high-level quadruple innovation helix roundtables took place in Prague as part of the 2025 CLARA Symposium. The roundtable, focused on strengthening cross-sector collaboration for the responsible and effective integration of AI in healthcare, brought together leaders from academia, industry, government, and healthcare to examine the topic “AI and Brain Health: Building Trust Through Collaboration Across Sectors.” Participants discussed how to preserve trust and the human element in care, align stakeholder priorities, leverage sector strengths and identify joint actions to ensure patients benefit from AI.

Trusted AI in Action: Experts Align on Validation and Trust in Medical AI

 

On 22 January 2026, an expert workshop titled “Trusted AI in Action: Validation Metrics for Medical Device Artificial Intelligence” was held at CIIRC-CTU. Organised by the INDRC and CIIRC-CTU in cooperation with the INPACE hub, the event was affiliated as a pre-summit event of the 2026 India AI Impact Summit and brought together stakeholders from research, healthcare, industry, government, and international organisations. The workshop focused on key challenges in deploying AI in medical practice, including the application of the Medical Device Regulation (MDR), practical risk classification, and defining validation metrics for trustworthy clinical use.
